Michael was a guest participant in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. Unfortunately, a collision interrupted the race and caused a chain reaction. Michael was one of the drivers involved in the accident, and it seems he got removed from the race early on. Nevertheless, we’d like to congratulate Michael on qualifying!

Hey guys, Michael has officially joined Vero! You can follow him at @michaelfassbender. Currently, he has shared links to his Road to Le Mans series, which he released on YouTube a few months ago.

With Vero, Michael is set to launch a new documentary series about his experience at the 2019 Rally of the Lakes, a rallying event held in his hometown in Ireland. This year’s rally has been unfortunately cancelled due to the pandemic crisis we’re going through, so Michael is launching this film to celebrate an event that means so much to him and his community.

The first part will be released on May 12th, 5pm BST, with the second and third parts on May 19th and May 26th, respectively. So if you don’t have an account on Vero yet, there’s still time to sign up to catch the launch! If you have trouble signing up, you can reach them at @verotruesocial.

New project! Michael is set to produce and star in an action spy thriller, Malko, based on the French book series, S.A.S.!

HOLLYWOOD REPORTER – Michael Fassbender is set to star in and produce the action spy thriller Malko after Lionsgate picked up worldwide movie rights to Gerard de Villiers’ action-spy novel series S.A.S.

Fassbender will play the role of superspy Malko Linge, with Oscar-nominated screenwriter Eric Warren Singer (American Hustle) set to pen the screenplay.

Lionsgate has also secured the rights to de Villiers’ catalog of espionage thrillers, serialized through 200 books that have sold throughout the world. The S.A.S. franchise follows the singular hero Malko Linge, an Austrian nobleman and freelance CIA operative who spent his formative years in a special Nazi work camp for captured spies and learned the intricate dark arts of tradecraft from the best. Now an adult living in a reclaimed family manor fallen into disrepair, Malko becomes a spy-for-hire.

The first film set will be mainly based on de Villiers’ book Checkpoint Charlie.

“We are enormously excited to be teaming with Greg Shapiro and Michael Fassbender, as well as Lars Sylvest from Black Magic and Thorsten Schumacher from Rocket Science, to develop Malko,” Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chairman Joe Drake said Tuesday in a statement.
