Happy bloomin’ Christmas, the UK, you won’t be getting to see Assassin’s Creed this year after all.

The video game adaptation, which is teasing us via quite good trailers, an excellent cast and a quality director into thinking it might actually be genuinely good, has shifted its release date back to January 6, 2017 in the UK.

Americans, however, will get to see it on December 21.
