ABOUT MICHAEL FASSBENDER ONLINE //
Michael Fassbender Online came from a thought I, R-J, had in November 2005, after viewing Season One of Hex on DVD. I was instantly taken by Michael's outstanding performance so I decided to do a little searching and came across another fantastic fan by the name of Qweenie who had recently seen Hex as well. I posted an entry on Qweenie's LJ community Fassbender Fans about a possible fansite devoted to Michael and the response I received back was incredibly positive. I roped in Nautia, a Band of Brothers fan and Abbey (one of my bestest online friends), to help with the site as well. Unfortunately due to other committments, Nautia and Abbey later departed from the project. On Christmas Eve of 2005, Michael Fassbender Online opened. Having grown over the years, MFO has blossomed into the primary fanbase of Michael's fans online with the opening of the Forum. This part of the site developed into a buzzing community of fans--also known as The Fassinators--and we are hoping to start organising conventions and fundraising opportunities in the near future. We truly have a wonderful group in the Forum and I thank each and every one of them for becoming involved. Overall, the idea behind Michael Fassbender Online is to be the largest online resource for Michael Fassbender and a gathering point for his fans. We will continue to strive to bring you the latest images, news, information and extras on Michael. We sincerely hope that you enjoy this fansite after all the hard work and love that has been put into it.
